Well-being Information

The well-being of the children is of paramount importance and a priority to us at Holmer Green First School and Pre-School.

Every child is unique and having positive relationships and enabling environments around them helps them to develop positively.  This can affect their understanding of their feelings and emotions, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, relationships, resilience and capabilities as they go through life.

We have a holistic approach, giving the children positive praise, encouragement, guidance and a wide range of activities to explore and enhance their imaginations and increase their knowledge of the world to help to give them a well-rounded sense of well-being.

The well-being of parents is also very important to us as life can be challenging juggling work and home, together with raising children.  The well-being of parents can affect the support they are able to give their children to grow and develop emotionally, physically, socially and cognitively and subsequently grow into confident adults themselves with the ‘tools’ they have gained from their childhood.
